Another rough week is over. I swear they aren't getting any easier. Well anyways, I'm back from Amsterdam and it was a lot of training. Got back and even more training - although I am getting to know their systems a bit better. The car broke yesterday - front AND rear window sprays are gone - and then the battery died! Oh well. I've finally got to play Risk a few times! Interestingly I've won every time, so either the other players have been useless or I'm damned good! The verdict is out for now! My review of the Gigabyte GA-K8N51PVMT-9 motherboard is complete and is up at PlanetX64. Hopefully soon I'll be able to put it up on this site, but I've just realised my Java conversion program doesn't handle return chars - so creating new reviews will have to be done by hand, and stuff that! Oh well - time for another week of hell, when will it ever end and be ok again?

Interesting quote for you to ponder on. "Suicide is not the answer. Suicide is the question - it's how we answer it that determines our existence". I suppose that applies to everything in life, it's our choices that make us who we are.

Well as you can see from my last entry, life hasn't been going so great recently. I won't go into details, but a broken heart sucks like mad, and no matter how many times you've been through it, it doesn't get any easier. On other news, the Shuttle project is finally complete and now I've just got to take some pics, do some benchmarks and get it over with. The upside is that all of that hard work has paid off, the downside is that it sounds like a rocket taking off, and you can't hammer the CPU and GFX for long periods of time together, it just gets too hot. For normal gaming and things its great though.
Work has been going ok, not so difficult anymore I've seemed to get the hang of things, and I've been on two customer visits, including to EMI records where they archive all of their old material. So I got a tour around the place and got to see loads of stuff no-one else gets to see. Very cool. The problem is now that as one of the lead techs is leaving, I'm having to learn everything super fast, and it's going to be a killer!
Next week is going to be interesting, as I'm off to Amsterdam on a business trip. I haven't been outside the country in a long time so it might be interesting to get out and see what non-uk people are like face to face again. Trouble is, it's a business trip so I won't be getting any rest what-so-ever, just training myself to death trying to get up to speed!

"Fulfillment - the completion of something". Well I don't feel very fulfilled right now at all.

A late night blog this time! Well I've been working at Adlib for over a week now and it has not been too bad. They are pumping me full of information which sucks but at least I'm learning quickly - hopefully I'll have most of the system sorted in my head within the month. Tomorrow I might actually spend some time at home. I've been out basically every night for the last week (I know, a geek with a social life, what?s the world coming to?). Hopefully this weekend I'll be busy too, Perky might be coming back up again, yay! Oh and I have some cool stuff to look forward to, Jen has sorted me out with some more Red Dwarf, which will be so cool again! Apart from that there isn't much to report, a Gigabyte review will be complete hopefully soon and I can start on the Shuttle one - some more parts from Alphacool turned up today to replace the broken old ones. While I remember I'll say 'hi' to Tori, Christine's housemate. We've been talking quite a bit lately and I've gotten to know her quite well, she's really cool. Apparently she's a gamer too, challenging people to games of Risk (I'm SO going to kick her arse!). Also I've got to watch what I write in here now I know occasionally she reads it, I got in trouble last time for saying her and Chris might actually not be sane, haha!
