I've deleted the log file and the hit counter has now been reset to 1.
In other news, I'm doing a review of Crucial's 2GB PC2-8500 Ballistix RAM at the moment, so that should be completed within the week.

Shoutbox is back up again, I've done a tiny tweak to the code which should hopefully keep the majority of bots out for now. Time will tell.

In tech news, my review of the Crucial 4GB kit is now complete at this URL at PlanetX64.

You may have noticed the number of spam messages in my shoutbox recently, unfortunately they've got worse and worse and I've got a bit fed up of deleting them. One solution to the problem is to use a CAPTCHA system, where you have to enter a series of letters in order to post a shout. The trouble is - designing and coding a system like that is going to take some time, and I just haven't got that at the moment. So for now, the shoutbox has been taken down.

In tech news, my review of the Crucial PC4200 4GB kit is about to be posted on PlanetX64.com so keep an eye out for it over the next couple of days.

I got a new bike!

It's a 2003 Suzuki GSX-F, 750cc engine, with a few extras on it, like a Scottoiler and a Givi case carrier. With 51,000 miles on the clock it's not exactly a new bike, and it has a few major scratches to the fairing (where it's been down the road a few times on it's side) but overall it's a nice little bike.
Insurance on it isn't bad either, only £70 more than my old 125 (which I'm now selling if anyone is interested). I've had Tigerreno on the back twice now with not too many problems, although I must learn to take it easy with someone else on the back.
The downsides of the bike are that it's very heavy, so a complete nightmare at low speeds with someone else on the back, and it drinks petrol, more than my car in fact. I'll try to get some pics of it up soon.

Review-wise, I've got a new 'base' system coming, so I'll be starting up decent reviews again soon, this time with a dedicated area to do it in. My review of the Antec Fusion and Silverstone GD01-MXR is now complete at PlanetX64, you can read it here.

Arg - insurance companies do my head in!

No sooner than I thought everything was sorted with the insurance, I now have a letter saying that they want to blame me for the entire accident and I have to pay for the Police car's damage. Strangely enough though they've already paid for my hire bike and the 'badly done' repairs to my bike, so I have no idea where they're getting this from now.

I have to reply to my insurance company to tell them I want to fight their ruling, and then deal with this all again - GRRR!

In other news, the Antec Fusion / Silverstone GD01 case review will be done in the next couple of days, and you can read it on PlanetX64.com. My PC has decided to go on the blink with a memory problem - so I can't do much on it (anything using over a gig of RAM crashes it out, and on Vista that?s very easy to do).
